These high powered,  machines go well beyond just shredding paper. They are equally capable of destroying complete ring binders, lever arch files, boxes, tape media, and more. The robust cutting units, powerful drives, and fully automatic controls provide for automated destruction of enormous amounts information.

To ensure high volume document destruction capability, systems utilize powerful drives designed to cope with thick stacks of paper. The cutting shafts are built with hardened steel cutters so they provide high throughput and effective shredding. 

The destruction chamber is fed items by an integrated conveyor. A large hopper can stage hundreds of pounds of paper and other media for destruction.

Systems can be equipped with a ferrous magnetic separator, which allows for the destruction of complete ring binders. Metal parts, such as binder rings, no longer need to be manually removed prior to shredding. They are extracted by the magnetic separator, protecting the secondary shredder and increasing the life of the cutting head. This separation of materials also allows for easier recycling.
